Although delayed for over a year due to the Pandemic, the San Marino Motor Classic resumed last Sunday.  It’s a fun way to spend a day checking out classic cars while contributing to good causes.  The proceeds of this show benefits the Pasadena Humane Society and the San Marino Rotary Charities.

This year is the 10th annual show.  There seems to be less car entries this year but the crowds are no less enthusiastic.

I am drawn to anything cars and my wife has a new found appreciation for the classic British roadsters.  One example is this fully restored 1964 Triumph Spitfire4.  Talking to the owner Barry, he revealed that this car belonged to his father and he remembers fondly of being in the car when he was a little kid.  The car remains with the family and Barry spent many years on a full frame up restoration with doing most of the work himself.  What a great way to keep a piece of family history.

Hopefully you are inspired to bring home an old Jaguar……..or at least consider adapting an adult cat from the Humane Society.
